Training Program

The training program of IRTG3109 utilizes the expertise and extensive experience of the former IRTG1902 and integrates a new bioinformatic curriculum, which is mandatory for all PHD students. The qualification program includes research related professional skills, a reserach phase at the partner lab in the US and complementary transferable skills courses to supply early career researchers with the key competencies required to develop an exceptional profile of scientific expertise and professional skills. The training program is set up in short block units and jour fixe meetings to fit well with experimental work (see Figure for an overview).
